Johnnie Delta Racing is a Scottish racing club based around Jim Goldie’s yard, giving racing fans the chance to experience the sport from the inside.
Members follow a team of ten racehorses with regular runners throughout the season — far more to look forward to than following a single horse.
You get behind-the-scenes access, trainer and stable updates, photos, videos and race plans, plus the race-day experiences that make following a team so enjoyable.
Full Membership puts you right at the heart of JDR, with a friendly group of racing enthusiasts sharing every high and low along the way. JDR has been doing this since 2013.

With regular runners throughout the season, members can enjoy race days, behind-the-scenes updates, photos, videos, race plans and stable insight.
If a horse leaves the JDR team, our aim is to replace it so members continue to follow a ten-horse team.

Meet the JDR team
Ten horses. Ten personalities. One team.
Salam Dubawi
A beautifully bred son of Dubawi and one of the classier members of the JDR team. Salam announced himself for the club with a memorable Hamilton victory and has since competed in some strong handicaps. A horse with plenty of ability and an exciting one for members to follow.
Sanafi Zabeel
A strong, genuine performer who has developed into a very useful member of the JDR team. He has produced some excellent performances around a mile and has shown the attitude you want to see from a racehorse.
Pearl Eye
A talented and dependable performer who has already delivered some fantastic moments for JDR. Pearl Eye has shown he knows how to win and continues to be a hugely valuable member of the team.
Uncle Liam
A horse who has really come into his own as he has matured and stepped up in distance. Uncle Liam has shown plenty of determination and looks the type who can continue progressing with experience.
Spanish Hustle
One of the experienced campaigners in the JDR team and a proven winner over middle and staying distances. Spanish Hustle is tough, versatile and the sort of seasoned racehorse who gives members plenty of days out throughout the season.
The trainer
Trained in Scotland
Johnnie Delta Racing operates within the established racing of Jim Goldie, one of Scotland’s best-known Flat trainers.
Based near Glasgow, Jim and his team have enjoyed success across Britain and have built a reputation for getting the best from their horses over many seasons.
JDR members receive regular insight from the yard, helping them follow each horse’s progress from home work through to race day.

A racing club built on real memories
Johnnie Delta Racing was established in 2013 and has been part of Jim Goldie’s yard ever since, with the black and yellow colours carried by some hugely popular horses along the way.
